Ladies Finger Fry (Vendaikka Fry) is South India’s favorite lunch time side dish. Ladies Finger has several health benefits and the fry is rich in taste suitable for all types of lunch meals.
Ingredients
Ladies Finger – 250 grams
Onion – 1 no
Tomato – 1 no
Green Chillies – 2 nos
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Salt – as required
Cooking oil – 3 or 4 tablespoon
Directions
Wash ladies finger in running water and chop it in small size as shown in picture.
Chop onion and tomato. Slit and keep green chillies ready.
Take a medim size pan, add 2 tablespoon of cooking oil and wait till it heats up.
Drop the chopped onion and fry it for 30 seconds. Add tomato and green chillies and continue frying for another 1 minute.
Add the chopped ladies finger in the pan and fry it by keeping flame in sim for 15 to 20 miutes.
Add additional oil during frying if needed.
Stop cooking based on required crispness.
